From bad to worse

My Pinnacle software does not work properly at all. We've sent it back, which will delay my work further. To make matters worse, my sound card is bad so I can't record lines at all yet. Let you know when a good development starts.

Good news and bad news

The good news is that I have a capture card.

The bad news? I am having problems exporting footage from my Xbox to my computer. Work is therefore delayed into the new year.

I think as I am almost ready to start work, I should let you know the names of my stories and the genres.

Last Days of Octavius: Genre- Horror and serious

Several bases on the colony Octavius are under attack by a bizarre enemy. How long can the humans hold out, and what answers will they discover along the way? In addition to the zombies, they must deal with treason, civilian uprisings and maniacs who are using zombies as a weapon to try and become more powerful.

Betrayal: Genre- serious

A group of Spartan-IIs arrive at a base and discover a UNSC survivor. Unofrtunately, he isn't willing to help them.

Unknown bounty hunter machinima: Genre- serious

Follow the tales of a bounty hunter as he journeys throughout the galaxy.

How not to make a machinima: Genre- Comedy

A player keeps appearing around the place and causing Halo games to go to a standstill. Watch how in this one-off episode.

The Infection Key: Genre- Comedy, Serious

A group of soldiers atempt to escape from their outpost and back to command. However, their progress is hampered by mysterious creatures, the bizarre and merciless Sentinels, and ultimately their own incompetence.

Betrayal prequel: Genre- Serious

The prequel to Betrayal. A group of Spartan-IIs and ODSTs attempt to defend a fortress from the Covenant.

So now you're up to date with the series info, you are probably going to ask the question that most people get: when the hell are you releasing the episodes? (Well, actually you won't till I become well-known)

The answer is that production on the above series is to start as soon as the capture card and microphone are acquired. When I get the capture card- which I will probably get first- I am likely to do some experiments, which are likely to be:

A) Done without dialogue and just with music

B) Done with Speakonia/Microsoft voices

C) Done with no dialogue or music

Product choice and new team member

I am now currently looking at capture cards and the tutorials posted by DigitalPh33r.

I am also pleased to welcome somebody new to the team known as Matt or "Deja". He will be cowriting with me for some of the new series.

Work will soon begin

I believe I will be close to raising enough money for a capture card and microphone, which is ultimately the only obstacle in my way. But I have the scripts for at least 5 series planned so do not worry, I will be making stuff on a regular basis.

Discriminated

Basically, I have this series idea for a group of aliens in guerilla warfare after they are openly mocked and discriminated. They go round attacking civilians and defence forces, resulting in open war. I have completed the second scene so I plan to start work on this soon.
